Join Gavin Hawk this Winter for 8 weeks of laughs as we dive into the comedic art form that is Long-Form improvisation, which has exploded across the country in the last few years, bolstered by the success of numerous comedy theatres devoted to it, including The Groundlings in Los Angeles, Second City in Chicago, and The Upright Citizens Brigade in New York, all of which have been incubators for today’s biggest comedy stars, as well as shows like the Netflix series Middleditch and Schwartz and in movies like Best in Show, The 40 Year Old Virgin, and Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

Long-Form combines the spontaneity of Short-Form improvisation as seen on shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway? with the scenic patterns of Sketch Comedy from shows like Saturday Night Live to deliver a truly unique and hilarious experience. This class is perfect for actors, writers, and comedians who want to play, laugh, and widen their skill set!
