In its original terrifying version comes Possessor Uncut – a film from Brandon Cronenberg, son of visionary director David Cronenberg. The film follows an agent who works for a secretive organization that uses brain-implant technology to inhabit other people’s bodies – ultimately driving them to commit assassinations for high-paying clients.

Possessor is Brandon’s second feature film after 2012’s well-received Antiviral. The son of David continues to pay homage to the visceral, emotionally complex, and horrifying works of his father while improving and refining his filmmaking, beginning to carve out an impressive legacy for himself.

Indie film fans will recognize star Andrea Riseborough from critic favorites The Death of Stalin and the modern horror classic Mandy. Christopher Abbot of the film It Comes at Night and the series Girls, and Jennifer Jason Leigh of The Hateful 8 round out the cast
